Congratulations to Matthew Sevey and Lyndy Rohman for winning Dancing for the Stars!
It's an annual fundraiser held to benefit the Phillips-Strickland House here in Bangor, ME. Lots of great food, drinks, music, and a silent auction with some really fantastic stuff! Also, a wonderful performance by the dancers of Robinson Ballet. There was a great turn-out, and all the dancers did a great job! The night ended with a performance by the Retro Rockers. Here are a couple pictures of Matthew dancing with our financial coordinator, Peggy:

Sleep Apnea
Dr. Sevey has just returned from Orlando, Florida, where he attended a 2
day seminar on the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea with dental
appliances. The seminar was hosted by the American Academy of Dental
Sleep Medicine.
Obstructive sleep apnea is a growing problem in this country that has many ramifications that are not just related to restless sleep. Other problems include increased risk of heart attack, stroke and high blood pressure. Dr. Sevey works with local sleep laboratories and physicians who treat obstructive sleep apnea to provide alternatives to CPAP machines, which many people find intolerable. If you have been diagnosed with sleep apnea or have any questions about dental appliances to treat sleep apnea, please give us a call to set up a consultation.

Yankee Dental Congress 2012
January 26-28th Dr. Sevey and the Creative Dental Solutions team went to Boston, MA for the 2012 Yankee Dental Congress! It's a fun annual event where dental professionals come together for Continuing Education Classes and cool exhibits (with booths for everything from the latest dental equipment to 5-Hour Energy). On Friday the assistants took a class on staining & glazing CEREC crowns; the front desk team took a called "Effective Strategies for Tough Questions;" and the hygienists took a class on Salivary Diagnostics-- and on Saturday we walked the exhibit floor!
Jessie had the camera, and here's what she came back with:
